By accessing or using CongregateHQ (operated by Lagniappe Web Solutions, a service of JADDAR ENTERPRISES LLC), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
CongregateHQ is a church management platform for churches and religious organizations. Depending on your plan, it may include text (SMS) and email messaging, member and family management, groups, online giving and donation tracking, events with registration and paid ticketing, volunteer coordination, a forms builder, children’s check-in, and a member portal. Features may change, improve, or be added over time.
You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be authorized to act on behalf of your church.
You may not use the platform to send unsolicited or unlawful messages, violate the TCPA or CAN-SPAM Act, upload data you do not have the right to use, attempt to access another church’s data, or interfere with the security or operation of the service.
You are responsible for ensuring everyone you contact by text or email has consented to receive messages from your church, and for honoring all STOP and unsubscribe requests immediately. Non-compliance may result in suspension. By submitting this form you agree to receive SMS communications from CongregateHQ. Reply STOP to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.
You are responsible for the information you collect and store about your members, donors, registrants, and volunteers — including obtaining any required consent, and any parental consent needed to collect information about minors — and for using that information lawfully. You own your data; we process it on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods, and unused messaging credits do not roll over.
Online giving and paid event registrations are processed through our third-party payment processor, and standard payment-processing fees apply. CongregateHQ does not take a platform percentage of your donations. Funds from giving and registrations settle to your connected payment-processor account. You are solely responsible for the financial oversight of the money you receive — including issuing refunds to your donors and registrants, providing tax receipts, and complying with applicable charitable-giving and tax rules.
We work to keep the platform available and reliable, but we provide it “as is” and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Message and payment delivery also depend on third-party providers, including our text-messaging, email, and payment-processing providers.
Your church data belongs to you. We do not sell your data. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days, subject to limited retention required for compliance, financial, or legal reasons.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You agree to indemnify CongregateHQ and Lagniappe Web Solutions against claims arising from your use of the platform, including your messaging practices, the data you collect, and your handling of giving and payments.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance, and we will notify active customers of material changes by email.
